Road Ahead

I am encouraged, as the time draws closer, that our road ahead will lead to more opportunities for both TM and I to have more peaceful minds!!

I have approximately 4 months 3 days to my retirement...YEAH! Of course, that depends on any snow days factored in. However, I am on the downhill run and IT FEELS GREAT!!!!!! TM is still adamant he is working up to his 66th birthday on October 27th. We shall see.

We are keeping our home for now. That is unless someone pulls in our drive and just has to have it...sure. As stated in the previous post -- just a tad up in the air with our plans. For one, as a retiree of a state pension in IL [scary enough already...politics - ugh!], my insurance would be higher for me anytime I reside, albeit temporarily, outside of IL by a bit over $200.00 a month. I am not complaining - just stating a fact for us to take into consideration. This is just one more 'thing' to add to our stew pot of planning.

TM and I are living through your blogs vicariously and enjoy all the helpful information you so willingly share. We know we can pull one of our bikes on a swivel wheel trailer as Rene and Jeanette do. OMG -- can I go back to riding behind TM again???? I would pull his ears off probably. I have been riding my Dyna in front of him and his Wide Glide way too many years, me thinks...hmmmmm!

Whether you are in AZ, CA, TX, NM, LA, GA, FL, or Mexico, we read your blogs as often as we can and can not wait to cross paths with you! What a life!!!!!!

Till next time....remember to Scatter Kindness!

  2. Steve and I brought both our bikes! Glad we did. We don't ride as often as we used to but it sure is fun when we do!
